    Chaplain to Bolton Town Centre

Bolton Town Centre Chaplaincy is looking for an experienced and pastorally gifted part time chaplain (2.5 days per week), based in Bolton town centre, to work alongside the retail, business and civic community.  You will take the lead in developing and delivering a high quality chaplaincy service, which has forged excellent links with the local community over the past four years.

Your varied and challenging role will range from pastoral care to project planning.  As an excellent communicator at all levels, you will have the ability to motivate and organise an existing team of committed volunteers, as well as relating to a wide range of staff employed in the town centre.  Someone who enjoys working beyond the boundaries of your faith community, you will care for those of all faiths and none, while engaging with people in an open, inclusive way.  You will be good at team working and at exploring how theology relates to the world beyond the church.

Full support will be provided by the proactive Management Group, which has members from the churches and the wider town centre community.

Remuneration Package: Circa £25,000 per annum (pro rata) or to match denominational package
