Evangelism Team
The District Evangelism team includes at least one
representative from each Circuit plus anyone with a particular passion for
evangelism or experience in it.
District Evangelism Team Strategy
·
The Rev Otto Ntshanyana, the District Evangelism
Enabler, will spend 3 or 4 months in each Circuit encouraging and enabling
people to “Talk of God” encouraging evangelism.
· Utilise the publicity achieved by the Bible Society Media
Campaign in the areas that the campaign will be run (planned for 2007).
· Embrace “Fresh Expressions” by inviting a speaker,
arranging a District conference and encouraging and enabling churches in the
District.
· Collate details of useful resources, such as books and
courses, so that appropriate resources can be recommended to churches in the
District.

ways of working
After
getting to know the District and its people, the Rev Otto Ntshanyana is enabling
evangelism by working with particular Circuits for 3 - 4 month periods.
The programme can include the use of the Methodist report "Time to Talk of
God", encouraging Christians to share their faith and participate in
evangelism.
