The MHA (Methodist Homes for the Aged) is a charity providing care homes, housing and support services for older people throughout Britain. A new MHA project within the District is Beechville, being developed on a site on Chorley New Road, Horwich. The new Home will provide 62 places for elderly people who require dementia or general nursing care. _____________________ Support Group Meetings Wednesday 8 October 2008 ___________________________ Epworth Grange Methodist Home Day Centre Wednesdays 9.30am - 3.00pm The Day Centre is seeking new members. of the Beechville support group are seeking to raise awareness and funds for the
project. As a member of that support group and the Bolton and Rochdale District
MHA representative, one of the ways that Brian Young sought to raise
awareness and funds for the project was to do a sponsored walk, ‘The Ten
Churches Walk’ in which he visited every church in the Farnworth and
Worsley Circuit. The walk took place on
