Shirley's Story

I was recently in a big car smash when a drunk driver in a works van strayed over to my side of the road at full speed.  Photos from the scene of the mangled metal, which was my car, show just how fortunate I,  and my three young passengers, were to come out of it with mend-able injuries.

But, of course, an incident like this makes you think.  About life, death and especially about God.

You know, the bible is sometimes described as just a history book but it still makes a lot of sense today.  Listen to this from the book of James Chapter 4:

‘Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.  Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.’

How true that is.  And how important it is to be right with God before we set out to do what we have to do.

So get right with God today – there is help available if you need it – and then you can face whatever tomorrow may bring!
