Call to Prayer re "Team Focus"

The President and Vice President of the Methodist Conference, together with the District Chairs and Warden of the Diaconal Order, invite the Methodist people to hold in their prayers all those involved in the Team Focus process.  This is mapping the re-configuration of the Connexional Team to meet the challenges of the twenty first century and the Conference requirement to operate with a 30% reduction of resources.

The process involves a close scrutiny of all areas of work covered by the Connexional Team, along with proposals for new patterns of work and staffing.

At this particularly sensitive phase we call for supportive prayer to embrace both those making recommendations and those whose work and role are being reviewed, as they await the outcome of the process to be finalised at Conference in July.
